Each widget has a menu with different actions:






Edit Widget – Edit widget settings and such name type. This is only available to users that have modification permission to the dashboard. Not shown to view only users.
Delete Widget¬ – Deletes a widget. This is only available to users that have modification permission to the dashboard. Not shown to view only users.
Refresh Widget – Reloads the data in the widget.
Clear Saved Preferences – If the widget report has a prompt and the user saved a default prompt preference, this option will clear that saved preference to redisplay the prompt. This configuration of a dashboard widget is only for rare use cases.
Refresh Prompts – For widgets that have a report prompt, this action will redisplay the prompt after a selection has been made. This configuration of a dashboard widget is only for rare use cases.
