How to clear the FastCache dashboard cache

Clearing the FastCache for Yurbi Dashboards

When setting up FastCache dashboards, you may need to clear the cache for testing or configuration. If the connected data source experiences temporary downtime, cached dashboards might show errors due to data unavailability during scheduled execution.

Follow these steps to clear the cache and allow Yurbi to automatically regenerate the cached dashboards:

For Windows:

  1. Navigate to your Yurbi installation directory.
  2. Open the fastcache folder.
  3. Delete all files inside this folder. The default path is: C:\Program Files\yurbi\fastcache

For Linux:

  1. Navigate to your Yurbi installation directory.
  2. Go to the fastcache directory.
  3. Delete all files within this folder. The default path is: /var/yurbi/fastcache

After Clearing the Cache:

  • Wait for 3-5 minutes for the system to regenerate the files, depending on how many users have FastCache enabled.
  • Allow an additional 3-5 minutes after the cache files are regenerated for users to access their newly cached dashboards.
